Mats is the co-founder of Northbridge. He met Geert on the soccer team at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA. After two and a half years of studying and playing soccer in the United States, he decided to move back to the Netherlands. During his time in the U.S., he experienced the challenges of the job search process himself and heard it from his teammates and classmates.

From there, he and Geert started looking into solving those problems. With this company, we aim to serve as the bridge between international graduates and employers, just as we navigated this path in our own careers. The aspiration is to make a lasting impact on the lives of international students by providing the support and resources we wished we had during our own job search.
