Northbridge is designed to connect international students with job opportunities in the U.S. after graduation. Here's how you can make the most of our platform:
For Students
1. Sign Up and Create Your Profile
- Now you can browse the website, the job opportunities and other visa related resources.
- However, when you apply for a job, you want the hiring manager to see relevant info about you.
2. So, finish your Candidate profile under profile settings.
- Click on the initials in the top right corner
- There is one important note to this:
- Now, if you also want to be visible to employers, when they are searching for candidates, not necessarily only when they are going through their applicants, you will need to create a candidate listing for yourself.
3. So, you go to “Post a new listing”
- Select the relevant type and category for you (I’m a student & Candidate listing)
- And complete the listing for more exposure!
4. Search and Apply for jobs by sending inquiries
5. Connect with employers – monitor your inbox.
- Employers reaching out to you come in under “As a listing author”
- Your inquiries to employers are under “As a customer”
For Employers
1. Create an account
- You can browse the website, candidate listings and other visa related resources.
- Now you are able to approach talent that is already showcasing themselves.
- However, when approaching talent, they can see your profile.
2. So, complete your Employer profile under profile settings, before approaching talent.
- Click on the initials in the top right corner
3. Search for Talent using filters and sending inquiries.
Now, if you do not only want to approach talent yourself, you can also post your job on the platform.
4. Go to “Post a new listing”
- Select the relevant type and category (I’m an employer & Job opportunity)
- And fill out all the necessary details.
5. Review Applicants in your inbox.
- Talent reacting to your job post come in under “As a listing author”
- Your inquiries to talent are under “As a customer”
For Universities
1. Partner with Northbridge
- Showcase job opportunities to your international students.
- Strengthen relationships with employers who are open to hiring globally.
2. Help Students Succeed
- Use Northbridge as a resource to guide your students in their job search journey.
